Do you want us to sell more of your products?

If your answer is “YES” then please do the following:

  1.  Respond to our emails faster to not risk losing order(s).

  2. Add your own shipping fees within each product page separately.

  3. Ship our orders within 3 business days.

  4. Make sure you are shipping a correct order and to the correct destination.

  5. Make sure your product on Oz Robotics has a clear and precise title with appropriate product description, technical specifications, correct retail price, in stock sign, high resolution images, tags, what’s included list, and showing in the right product category.

  6. Mark the order shipped with the tracking number in your Vendor Dashboard under Orders once it is shipped.

  7. Showcase your Oz Robotics’ store link on your website under “Where to Buy”.

  8. Be patient, and keep adding new products if you want to keep our customers interested.

  9. Add your own policies for shipping, exchange, and refunds within your Vendor Dashboard on our website.

  10. If applicable, keep it simple, and exchange the product, or refund the customer without wasting time and energy. A happy customer will always come back to buy more. Word of mouth is the best advertisement!

The product name should not exceed 70 characters

What’s the problem with a product name over 70 characters? – Search Engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo and others. We know that some of your items have long titles. You can submit titles with up to 150 characters, but because Search Engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo and many others; they all can only display up to 70 characters on shopping ads, this is why we strongly encourage you to submit titles with 70 or less characters whenever possible.

Why should you fix this? – Major Search Engines like Google need to shorten product titles when there is limited space, such as on mobile devices. It is important to use short titles that contain relevant product information so that a user can get an idea of what the advertised product is about and what differentiates it from other products.

How can you fix this? – For all those reasons above we recommend putting distinctive product attributes at the beginning of the title. For example, ‘Nexus 7 tablet in black with 32GB of storage’ becomes ‘Nexus 7 tablet, 32GB, black’. Technical specifications are important for electronics whereas brand, color, and fabric are more important for apparel items. This helps the user to understand what this product is even if the title is truncated.

How can I find how many characters are in the product title? – Copy and paste the product title into a Microsoft Word document. From the top menu click on the REVIEW tab, then highlight the title entirely, and click on ABC123 Word Count icon on the top left.

Optimizing Your Product Images for Search Engines

Product images can make or break your online shop’s success. You can have the best products in the world, but when images are bad, sales will be bad. Your product image is the first thing a customer will look at. These are the most important features of a product page when shopping online are:

  • Quality of the product images
  • View products in all available colors
  • Alternate views of the selected item
  • Ability to zoom into the details of the product
  • Product guides

Choose the right file name

Image SEO starts with the right file name. Of course, this is the first location to use that keyword. Without even looking at the actual image, you want Google or any other Search Engine to know what the image is about. It’s simple: if your image is a sunrise in Paris showing the Notre Dame, then the file name should not be DSC4536.jpg, but notre-dame-paris-sunrise.jpg. The main keyword would be Notre Dame, as that is the main subject of the photo.

Your product images plays a big role; therefore it reflect the meaning of your technology, vision, business and hard work. Your product images should be minimum 1024px height, or 1024px wide up to 2048px by 2048px, or 4.2 megapixels. Higher resolution photos will look more polished and professional to customers, or  1024px by 1024px as a guideline for square product images.

Quality of your product images

It seems so obvious to use high quality images. Do not use a small, blurred, faded or fuzzy image. People are visual beings and so they will judge your product based on its photo and the its content regardless how fantastic your product is! If the product image is not reflecting your product, and its details well enough then the sale is lost.

A product image with good size, high resolution, and correct file name e.g. notre-dame-paris-sunrise.jpg. ranks better for the keyword it is optimized for.
