Atilze LoRa Shield 915Mhz
Atilze LoRa Shield is an Arduino shield which integrates Gemtek GL6509 Low-Power Long Range LoRa Technology Transceiver module and based on Open Source Library with any Arduino projects. It is compatible with CT-UNO, Arduino Uno, Arduino Due, Arduino Mega2560, Arduino Leonardo and possibly other pin compatible main boards.
LoRa shield onboard GL6509 module provides an easy to use, low-power solution for long range wireless data transmission. The advanced command interface(AT commands) offers rapid time to market. The GL6509 module complies with the LoRaWAN Class A protocol specifications. It integrates RF, a baseband controller, command Application Programming Interface (API) processor, making it a complete long-range solution.
This LoRa shield provides easy and stable UART interface for users to communicate with onboard LoRa module GL6509 using Arduino boards. The module is preloaded with firmware with on-board LoRaWAN protocol stack ready and the user can use provided library to implement wireless solution in their Arduino projects. Besides, the provisioning of each and every Atilze LoRa shield is completed with Atilze gateways and Frabrick platform. This makes users one less hassle to implement LoRaWAN protocol by themselves in their projects.
LoRa shield has stackable side headers which allows more Arduino-compatible shields to be stacked on top of it. This shield provides digital pins options for software and hardware UART or even PC to GL6509 communication. The LoRa Shield targets professional wireless sensor network applications such as irrigation systems, smart metering, smart cities, smart agriculture, building automation, etc.
