The IoTbase Feather module has slots for installing one Adafruit Feather (or compatible) module, one mikroBUS module (“S” or “M” format), and one ESP-M3 module.

The module power supply is non-isolated, ranging from 9VDC to 36VDC.

The IoTbase Feather module size is 65 x 56 mm. The format of the module corresponds to the popular format of the Raspberry Pi 3A+, which significantly simplifies its use with the Raspberry Pi.

IoTbase Feather

The IoTbase Feather module has slots for installing one Adafruit Feather (or compatible) module and one mikroBUS module of the “S” or “M” format. These two slots organize a common bus. Using the Adafruit Feather slot allows you to design devices based on mikroBUS modules, various our modules, and Adafruit Feather compatible SoM such as:

  • Huzzah32, M0 and M4 Express, nRF52840 Express, STM32F405 Express from Adafrui
  • Xenon, Argon, and Boron from Particl
  • MAX32620FTHR and MAX32630FTHR from Maxim Integrate
  • Wio Lite W600 and Wio Lite MG126 from Seeed with all software and services from specified companies.

The MBL (P1) and MBR (P8) connectors are mikroBUS bus signals. Thus, it is easy to connect another module (or even several) with mikroBUS slots through these connectors, increasing the number of slots on the shared bus. In addition, almost all signals not used by mikroBUS from the installed Adafruit Feather are output to the P12 connector, making it possible to use almost all Adafruit Feather functions without changing the programs.

Third-party ESP-M3 modules can be installed in J4. Thus, a device based on IoTbase Feather can quickly provide a Wi-Fi connection. The ESP-M3 is UART controlled from the 2nd mikroBUS slot on the module. For stability, a DC-DC converter provides 3.3VDC power for the ESP-M3, independent of the power supply on the mikroBUS common bus.

The I2C interface is most often used in designing devices and instruments based on this module. The module has an I2C connector to connect external devices and sensors.

The module contains the LM75B chip – a temperature sensor connected via I2C. Temperature measurement accuracy: 2 C for the temperature range from -25 C to +100 C, 3 for the temperature range from -55 C to +125 C.

The module power supply is non-isolated, ranging from 9VDC to 36VDC. The module converts the input power to the output, 5VDC. The maximum current is 1A. There are two connectors for distributing 5VDC to other modules and a connector for transmitting VIN input voltage to other modules.

Shipping Policy

WE SHIP WORLDWIDE: We primarily ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, EMS, TNT, and USPS because they are fast, reliable, and easily trackable. We usually ship within two to three business days after the full payment. Standard delivery generally occurs within 5 to 7 business days after the shipping date. However, sometimes delivery may take about 7 to 10 business days, depending on the shipping destination, logistics mode, weather conditions, product weight, size, or shipping company distribution structures based on re-planning, such as staff shortages caused by COVID.

SHIPPING COSTS: For some industrial products, e.g., heavy wheels, CNC machines, etc., the shipping cost is calculated based on the product weight, not quantity. To benefit from lower shipping costs for orders with multiple items, don't hesitate to contact us at sales@ozrobotics.com. Our shipping rates are listed very clearly on each product page under the SHIPPING tab. Additionally, to see the shipping cost for your country, add the item to the Shopping Cart; you will see the shipping cost based on your Country and Location.

CUSTOMS and TARIFFS: While not all products require a tariff, some products may require a minimal tariff if applicable in your country for orders of $800.00 and above. The total amount for your order does not include a customs fee/tariff. A tariff belongs to the buyer when applicable. Why don't we add tariffs to the product's retail price? - If all countries deducted the same tariff amount, we would have added the tariff amount to the product price. However, we do not do that because each country charges a different amount, while some do not even charge. Therefore we can't add any tariff to the product's retail pricing. Oz Robotics, Manufacturing Partner, or Supplier are not responsible for tariffs. Please check the "Made In" and "Made By" labels on the product page to see the product's origin. Return Policy

Warranty: We guarantee to provide accurate descriptions and high quality product. If you have any problems with your order, please notify us within 60 days from date of shipment of any defective product. You agree to pay for the return shipping on exchanges and returns and we will reimburse this cost upon verification of a defect with the product. Furthermore, no warranty will apply if the product has been subject to misuse, static discharge, neglect, accident, modification, or has been soldered or altered in any way. Returns: If you are not satisfied with a product you bought, for whatever reason, it is possible to return it for refund within 5 days of receipt (10 days for an exchange). You must first advise us by email: support@ozrobotics.com for return authorization. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained a return authorization. All returns must be in its original mint and clean condition. Returns on damaged, scratched, programmed, burnt, or otherwise played with product will not be accepted. The product must then be returned in its original packaging with its receipt and a small note for the reason of the return. The note will help us to serve you better and improve our products. Reimbursement will be denied for any products which do not conform to the abovementioned conditions Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 3 days of receiving the product (shipping fees excluded). You must cover the cost of returning the product. You will need to pay for shipping (if you want a refund instead of a replacement). Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part.
