Tariffs


Tariffs: The tariff will only affect customers in the country where they reside and order. Please check the “Ships From:” label on this product page to see which country we will ship this product from. While not all products require a tariff, some may require a minimal or no tariff in your country. If applicable, the buyer will pay the tariff within their respective country. The total amount of your order does not include a tariff. Please enter a reachable phone number during checkout so the Shipping Company can contact you to pay the tariff once your parcel arrives at your destination.

Why don’t we add tariffs to the product’s retail price? If all countries imposed the same tariff amount and used the same currency, we would have added the tariff amount to the product price. However, we do not do that because each country charges a different amount and uses a different currency, while some do not even charge a tariff. Therefore, we can’t add a tariff to the product’s retail pricing. Oz Robotics’ manufacturing partners, or suppliers, are not responsible for tariffs. Please check the “Ships From:” label on the product page to see the product’s origin. The total amount for your order does not include a tariff. The customer must pay the tariff. We will not cancel your order or refund you if you do not pay the tariff. More Details.

Failure to Pay Tariff: All duty taxes and import fees incurred after your shipment leaves our vendor/supplier’s factory/store are the responsibility of the customer/buyer. We cannot refund you if your package is returned to our supplier’s address due to failure to pay customs duties or import fees. Please be aware of a small import tax fee. The total amount for your order does not include any duty fees, import taxes, or customs fees if applicable in your country. The buyer must pay all import duties. Ships From: Not all our products are shipped from the USA; some are from countries and regions like China, Taiwan, or Europe. Therefore, the amount of tariff you will pay will differ depending on which country your order will be shipped from. This is to keep tariffs as low as possible, because not all countries charge the same amount. For example, if the US imposes a tariff of 145% on goods from China, other countries will impose a much lower tariff on products shipped from China. Please check this product’s “Ships From:” label to see which country it will be shipped from.

Shipping and Handling Charges: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. We are not responsible for shipping charges on merchandise returned to us for warranty replacement or refund.

Shipping Issues: If any order arrives damaged or harmed due to shipping/courier fault, immediately take photos of the damaged box and contact the courier. Keep all shipping boxes and email Oz Robotics ASAP at support@ozrobotics.com.

Sales Tax: Sales tax is charged on all orders shipped to New York. The current sales tax rate at our Boulder location is 8.875%. Due to the Nexus Tax Law in the United States, we do not charge sales tax to customers in other states.

Tax Exempt Status: If you live in New York and have tax-exempt status, please first purchase the product and then email a copy of your exemption certificate to info@ozrobotics.com. We will apply the exemption to your account and reply to your email to let you know. At that point, you can place your order as expected, and tax will not be added at checkout.
