This version has face tracking and standard Bluetooth controller interactivity. You can interact with the 3D models using either face rotation or the Bluetooth controller to rotate, move, scale, etc. In addition, this is an LCD version, where the visuals from a primary LCD are projected onto a highly tuned, specialized projection glass surface with multiple unique coatings.

Software

HOLOFIL uses content created using 3D models and animations. Very simple, straightforward content can be created using our Android app, HOLOFIL-X, or the simple 3D text animation software we provide. For complex content, you can use standard 3D modeling and animation software such as 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender, KeyShot, etc.

IoS App

HOLOFIL Bluetooth Android app that comes pre-installed on the Android tablet in the HOLOFIL device  gives you the following ability

1.  Pair with the Bluetooth controller provided with the HOLOFIL device.
2.  Upload 3D models in various file formats, such as OBJ, FBX, and PLY.
3.  Interact with the 3D models using the Bluetooth controller’s move, rotate, and zoom functions.
4. Interact with the 3D models using face tracking. For example, when you turn your head, the models will rotate to show you different sides of the 3D model.

Android App

HOLOFIL-X Android app is a separate application that you can buy here, which gives you the following ability

1.  Upload simple free 3D models available from the Internet or any other source in FBX, OBJ, or ply file format.
2.  Export simple 360-degree turntable animations in HD resolution MP4 format (The model rotates 360 degrees around itself).
3. Upload these simple MP4 3D animations to the HOLOFIL device to play them.

Consider a scenario in which you decorate your home’s interior, place HOLOFIL in your living room, and want to change its content weekly. You can search for “free 3D models” on the Internet, download the appropriate format, and create simple animations that you can adjust as needed whenever you get bored and feel like updating HOLOFIL with new content. Imagine decorating your room with various Buddha statues, museum artifacts, and other attractive 3D models from online marketplaces, such as this one.

Our 3D text animation software allows you to create simple 3D text animations (as seen above) that can be used to build engaging, pre-configured, template-based animations. This software has an editor like MS Word that allows users to choose different fonts, animation styles, and other super simple features after a little learning. If you know how to use Microsoft Word, you can use this software further. You create simple text animations like the one above, export them in MP4 format, load them onto the HOLOFIL device, and you’re ready.

As HOLOFIL uses an Android-based system, you can create Android-based 3D games if you are a developer. Furthermore, it can be used as a gaming platform for Unity- and Unreal Engine-based 3D game development, where you can connect a Bluetooth controller to interact with the games. In addition, you can create excitement by combining physical and virtual content within the device to make it look super cool, like the Chicken Hunter example below.

Here, you see a HOLOFIL chicken-hunting game designed and developed in Unity. It is played using a Bluetooth joystick game controller. The joystick lets the hunter move left to right, and the four buttons perform different actions, such as jumping, shooting, and running. You can use any Bluetooth controller if the game supports button mapping.

In the above case, you see a mixed-reality setup. The plants and flowers inside HOLOFIL are natural physical objects placed inside the device. At the same time, the hunter and the flying chickens appear virtually, surrounding them, making the game even more exciting and fun.
