MachineSaver TriVibe Vibration Sensor
What is it? MachineSaver’s industry-leading 3-axis digital vibration and temperature sensor is used on roller element bearings. It is capable of 50,000+ Samples per second, making it an excellent addition to gathering data for analytical vibration software and Machine Learning AI Applications. IIOT companies use this worldwide to gather data for their respective software solutions.
How does it work? It employs a Serial Modbus RS485 communications protocol and acts as a slave device for a master controller. It polls data near real-time and can deliver bytes of overall statice vibration data and raw vibration data used to create high-resolution spectrum/time waveform graphs for analysts to diagnose machine-bearing health and detect anomalies.
Which problem does it solve? From the highly detailed data it outputs, this sensor can detect bearing and machine process failures months before they become catastrophic damage to your machine. Due to its high output of samples and resolution, it can pair nicely with machine learning algorithms in a gateway/software to automatically diagnose impending machine failures and anomalies. The ML/AI software can learn faster and more accurately with this detailed data.
