Hi Libin, Magni Robot Platform has encoders in both wheels and both wheels are, in effect accurately speed controlled. Although it's important to realize that in order to achieve accurate trajectories we use a kind of trajectory-based control right down in the motor controller. Perhaps more interesting for you is that we have a set-up (that includes a LIDAR + a LIDAR-based navigation stack) the positional accuracy has been validated utilizing highly accurate metrology. The verification of the location accuracy of this set up was done for another customer, but if you are interested in that set up we could provide you a report that shows the localization accuracy in our lab environment where we compare the location as reported by the robot, compared against a "gold standard" measurement from a surveyor's total station with very high accuracy.

Please let us know if that stack is interesting for you - it's a little more expensive (as it includes a LIDAR + additional software) but may help you with your project. Additionally, this software stack includes the ability to selectively improve accuracy and reliability by including fiducial markers - when the robot sees the fiducial marker it can use it as an additional data-point for localization. Thank you.
