Aircraft Model AN-225 MRIYA – Official Exclusive Edition DIY Kit

It is not just a do-it-yourself mechanical model or a beautiful souvenir. This monument is dedicated to the engineers and workers of Antonov Aviation, who created this engineering marvel. Considering only one AN-225 was ever built, this model lets us let Mriya live on while we await its return.

Together with Antonov, Metal Time supports Ukrainian aviation rebuilding programs, including:

  • The restoration of the AN-225 Mriya aircraft;
  • Training of new pilots and aircraft engineers;
  • The houses of Antonov employees, destroyed during the war, were restored.

In 1988, Antonov Aviation built the world’s largest cargo aircraft, the AN-225, named Mriya (translated from Ukrainian, which means Dream) and landed it at the Gostomel airport in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Its specifications were astonishing: 275 feet long, 288 feet wide, and 59 feet tall. To understand how enormous Mriya was, imagine a six-story house with four entrances. The Mriya weighed 350 tons (700,000 lbs.) and could lift another 250 tons (500,000 lbs.). This was an absolute record. Mriya was a beast. No plane on Earth could come close to that much carrying capacity. For example, Mriya could transport a herd of 42 elephants or more than 1.8 million iPhones.

Over the years, the Mriya AN-225 has transported giraffes, yachts, parts of power plants, and other large items that other planes could not transport. Mriya carried the first Soviet “Shuttle” called “Buran” and made its longest flight. After a short flight into space, the Buran remained grounded, but the Mriya would continue to soar!

Such an impressive feat of engineering has rarely been seen on Earth. Each Mriya takeoff and landing became a spectacle, attracting the press and people worldwide. You can destroy a plane, but you can’t kill a Dream. One day, Mriya will fly again.

Shipping Costs: For some industrial products, such as heavy wheels and CNC machines, shipping costs are calculated based on product weight, not quantity. Return Policy

5 Hours: Mistakes happen when ordering, so you have 5 hours to request a refund for any reason, including if you don’t want to pay the tariff. However, Stripe will not refund you their processing fee if you cancel your order.

All Sales Are Final: After 5 hours, we cannot cancel your order or issue a refund because order cancellations require reverse tariff payments and multiple shipping fees, which are very costly and time-consuming. For technical issues, we will be happy to assist you in resolving problems and provide a replacement if you can prove that the product has a manufacturing defect.

Exchange Policy: We want you to be happy with your new purchase. However, once you have used the product, we cannot issue a refund. But we will offer an exchange for a product that has irreversible manufacturing defects or technical problems. If you purchased the wrong product, then you, as the customer, will be responsible for the re-shipping fees and tariffs. If the product you purchased is defective, email us at support@ozrobotics.com with photos or a video of the faulty parts so we can evaluate it before arranging for a replacement.
