Splashing Dreamer DIY Airplane Mechanical Model Kit
The Boeing 314 Clipper was an American long-range flying boat produced by Boeing from 1938 to 1941. One of the largest aircraft of its time, it had the range to cross the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The first 314 flight on the San Francisco-Hong Kong route left Alameda on February 23, 1939, with regular passengers, and Foreign Air Mail Route #14 service began on March 29. A one-way trip on this route took more than six days. Flying across the Atlantic was a feat for pilots and passengers, though it became routine in the first half of the 20th century. The journey often lasted most of the day; the machinery was unreliable, and the weather conditions created stress at every moment. Suddenly, a plane appeared, offering unprecedented comfort and safety for passengers. Even in the event of an unforeseen ocean landing, it guaranteed the survival of everyone on board. The secret is that it was a Boeing 314 Yankee Clipper floatplane.
It was like a floor in a luxury hotel. Pull-out chairs, restaurant porcelain tableware, silverware, and top-notch service. It was such a plane where James Bond could order his favorite cocktail without getting up and drinking it from a crystal glass. The design of the hydroplane and the reserves of resources allowed it to stay in the air for up to a day without refueling and, in case of malfunctions, land on the water and continue its way as a huge boat.
World War II changed the functionality of these aircraft, and the luxury of air travel became a thing of the past. Paying tribute to this American-engineering creation, the Metal Time team developed the Splashing Dreamer self-assembly kit based on the design of this glorious hydroplane. The hydroplane body rests on a stable stand that also houses a spring-winding mechanism with a key. With the help of gears, the movement from it is transmitted to the screws of the engines. However, the model can be easily separated from the stand, for example, for playing or as part of a mock-up or installation. Because they are disconnected from the central mechanism, the screws can only be turned by hand.

Return Policy
5 Hours: Mistakes happen when ordering, so you have 5 hours to request a refund for any reason, including if you don’t want to pay the tariff. However, Stripe will not refund you their processing fee if you cancel your order.
All Sales Are Final: After 5 hours, we cannot cancel your order or issue a refund because order cancellations incur multiple transaction processing fees from Stripe and PayPal, additional shipping fees, and reverse tariff payments, which are costly and time-consuming. For technical issues, we will be happy to assist you in resolving problems and provide a replacement if you can prove that the product has a manufacturing defect.
Exchange Policy: We want you to be happy with your new purchase. However, once you have used the product, we cannot issue a refund. However, we will offer an exchange for a product with irreversible manufacturing defects or technical issues. If you purchased the wrong product, then you, as the customer, will be responsible for the re-shipping fees and tariffs. If the product you purchased is defective, email us at support@ozrobotics.com with photos or a video of the faulty parts so we can evaluate the issue before arranging a replacement.

Terms and Conditions
If you were not at home or at your shipping address during the parcel delivery: It is not our or the supplier's fault; if the shipping/delivery company could not deliver your parcel because you, the customer, were not at home or at your delivery address on the delivery date/time, and as a result, the carrier returned your parcel to the manufacturer from where it was shipped. Please note that we do not accept excuses; you will therefore have to pay the re-shipping fee and the tariff for any re-shipment request. In such a case, we will not issue a refund. Please always check your SPAM folder to ensure you receive emails from Oz Robotics and shipping companies.
Product Warranty: Our warranty covers only product-related problems caused by manufacturing defects. It does not cover problems resulting from faulty repair attempts, customer accidents, or misuse.
