WeIO is an innovative open-source hardware and software platform for rapid prototyping and creating wirelessly connected interactive objects using only popular web languages such as HTML5 or Python.

With WeIO, making connected objects becomes as simple as making websites.

WeIO removes the burden of technically complex embedded and system software programming, making sophisticated object design easy to prototype to focus on the design and innovation.

With WeIO, everyone can easily create objects that sense the environment (sensors) or act on the environment (actuators) from a distance and any device (PC, mobile phone, or tablet). This way, you can check the temperature, detect movements, control lights, move servo motors, and do many other exciting things, making your objects interactive and connected. In addition, you can design rich graphical user interfaces in HTML5 for your connected things.

One more advantage of WeIO is that it can create real multitask applications. Thanks to WeIO’s multi-process design, these ”smart“ objects can do multiple tasks simultaneously while sending and receiving messages simultaneously.

WeIO consists of the development board and WeIO IDE, a locally served (not from the cloud) web application that lets you program and control all inputs and outputs on the board from any browser. Programming of WeIO is easy, as it is done with HTML5 or Python – languages loved by designers and programmers.

WeIO project opens the doors to creating new objects. It will be available to the whole community as an open source and open hardware starting in September 2014. The possibility for everyone to quickly make industry-grade intelligent and connected objects practically ready for production and market is fantastic!

Shipping Policy

Fast Delivery! We ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS because they are fast, reliable, and easily trackable. We process orders within 24 hours, and delivery may take 4-7 business days after that, depending on your location. We will email you the tracking number once your order is shipped.

Shipping Costs: For some industrial products, such as heavy wheels and CNC machines, shipping costs are calculated based on product weight, not quantity. To reduce shipping costs for orders with multiple items, please email us at sales@ozrobotics.com before placing your order. We show shipping rates on the product page under the SHIPPING tab. To view the shipping cost for your country, click 'Add to Cart' on the product page.

Return Policy

5 Hours: Mistakes happen when ordering, so you have 5 hours to request a refund for any reason, including if you don’t want to pay the tariff. However, Stripe will not refund you their processing fee if you cancel your order.

All Sales Are Final: After 5 hours, we cannot cancel your order or issue a refund because order cancellations require reverse tariff payments and multiple shipping fees, which are very costly and time-consuming. For technical issues, we will be happy to assist you in resolving problems and provide a replacement if you can prove that the product has a manufacturing defect.

Exchange Policy: We want you to be happy with your new purchase. However, once you have used the product, we cannot issue a refund. But we will offer an exchange for a product that has irreversible manufacturing defects or technical problems. If you purchased the wrong product, then you, as the customer, will be responsible for the re-shipping fees and tariffs. If the product you purchased is defective, email us at support@ozrobotics.com with photos or a video of the faulty parts so we can evaluate it before arranging for a replacement.

Ships From: On this product page, check the Ships From: label to see which country we will ship this product from, because we do not ship all products from the USA; some products ship from regions like China, Taiwan, Canada, and Europe.
