Copyright and Intellectual Property
As stated in our Terms and Conditions, vendors on Oz Robotics have the full legal right to sell the physical, digital, or auctionable products they list. By uploading any product images to OzRobotics.com, vendors confirm that all photos are copyright-free or that they own the copyright to these images.
Dealing with Violations
If you believe you have noticed a violation of this policy for listed products, please do not post a public comment. Instead, email us at info@ozrobotics.com immediately so we can take action or pursue legal follow-up. This is potentially libelous, and Oz Robotics cannot and will not be liable for it. First, contact the responsible vendor or member by private message and ask them to remedy the breach. If they do not cooperate, contact Oz Robotics at info@ozrobotics.com. We will do what we can to resolve the situation by speaking with both sides: the vendor and the customer. We may have access to historical user information, which will help us. Please be aware that if you repeatedly complain, we may be less likely to believe your side because we know every issue has two sides. Before taking action, we will speak with the other party to hear their account. Nevertheless, Oz Robotics support cannot determine who owns the content. This is a matter for the legal system between you and the other vendor or you and the customer.
Copyright Law
Various laws apply to all products on Oz Robotics, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act in the USA. These laws require you to file a takedown notice with Oz Robotics, which will immediately remove the product(s) and relevant content. To do this, you must hold the copyright to the product in question and be prepared to prove it in a US court, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Also, note that either party may be liable for damages if legal action ensues; therefore, let us cooperate to avoid a dispute between the parties.
Responses to takedown notices for products and related content vary by case; we will delete links to the product(s) and subject content and contact the vendors, customers, or members on both sides of the notice. Occasionally, especially for repeat offenders, we will suspend or ban such members without hesitation because we have zero tolerance for unnecessary disputes.
