Smart Badge-LoRaWAN, BLE, GPS and AOA Position Tracking

The tracker is intelligent hardware based on LoRaWAN transmission. It has built-in motion, Bluetooth, GNSS, and other sensors, combined with the external Bluetooth beacon, which can be used as a tracking device for indoor and outdoor personnel positioning and as a Bluetooth gateway for asset location management. It can provide users with location services with accuracy from 1 meter to 4 meters indoors and 5 meters outdoors. Compared with other schemes, the scheme combining tracker and beacon has the advantages of low cost, convenient deployment, long standby time, and so on, and is suitable for the scene with high positioning accuracy.

The tracker supports both BLE and GNSS locations. To support BLE location, the BLE beacons need to be deployed around the tracker, the tracker gets its position by detecting the BLE signal.

If no beacon signal is scanned, the tracker will turn on the GNSS module to get the satellite signal, and vice versa, if the beacon signal is scanned, GNSS main power will be turned off with backup power on.

The badge can work as a Quuppa AOA tag, if it detects an AOA locator exists by BLE broadcast, it will send an AOA packet every 500ms to the locator. The broadcast UUID of the locator must be A3FDED9A-87E2-4C2E-9E2F-5B7A2AC2AF05, else the AOA function will not be enabled. If the tracker is out of the range of AOA, it will stop the AOA function.

The tracker can also work as a beacon, if it detects a special beacon, it will scan BLE interleaved with the broadcast. This feature is designed for a special case when the tracker is in an environment with poor Lora signal, such as a shielded room, the beacon mode can be turned on and the signal can be sent out with the help of Bluetooth gateway, which must be deployed in a place with good signals, such as the gate of the building.

The badge can be used to detect the safe distance of the bearer. When the distance exceeds a certain distance, an alarm is triggered and the contact information is reported.

This helps streamline administrative processes and ensures accurate timekeeping. Cashless Payments: The Smart Badge can be integrated with payment systems, enabling cashless transactions within a specific environment like corporate cafeterias, events, or amusement parks. Users can conveniently make purchases by tapping their badges on compatible payment terminals, eliminating the need for carrying physical cash or cards.

What makes it special?

  2. The tracker works in OTAA mode and Class A mode by default, but it can also be set to ABP mode by BLE configuration. In both modes, DevEUI, AppEUI, and AppKey, or DevAddr, NwkSkey, and AppSkey, the frequency can be changed by BLE.
  3. Indoor location is based on BLE, cooperates with our company localization algorithm, provides a precision of 1 ~ 4 meters, the probability of fewer than three meters is 70%, and we provide a platform for free use.
  4. The outdoor location is based on GPS, with a precision of 5 meters. Support Quuppa system, based on the BLE AOA high precision positioning, precision is less than 1 m.
  5. 800 mA rechargeable lithium battery, support overcharge and high-temperature protection, standby time can be up to 6 months.
  6. Bluetooth OTA upgrade supports batch updates with the help of a dongle, we’ll provide the free software.
  7. Support iBeacon protocol and third-party custom-defined BLE formats, support for up to five kinds of BLE custom formats.
  8. Beacon white list mechanism, scan only specific UUID beacon, support for up to five different UUID. 9.Intelligent motion sensor enters sleep state when stationary, power consumption is less than 20uA.

WE SHIP WORLDWIDE: We primarily ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, EMS, TNT, and USPS because they are fast, reliable, and trackable. We usually ship within two to three business days after the full payment. Standard delivery generally occurs within 5 to 7 business days after the shipping date. However, the delivery may take about 7 to 10 business days, depending on the shipping destination, logistics, weather conditions, product weight, size, or shipping company distribution structures.

SHIPPING COSTS: For some industrial products, e.g., heavy wheels, CNC machines, etc., the shipping cost is calculated based on the product weight, not quantity. To benefit from lower shipping costs for orders with multiple items, please contact us at sales@ozrobotics.com. Our shipping rates are listed clearly on each product page under the SHIPPING tab. CUSTOMS and TARIFFS: While not all products require a tariff, some products may require a minimal tariff if applicable in your country for orders of $800.00 and above. Return Policy

5 HOURS: Mistakes happen when ordering, so you have 5 hours to request an order cancellation, but we cannot refund the PayPal or Stripe Processing Fees because they do not refund us. Unfortunately, after 5 hours, your item(s) have either been shipped, prepared to ship, or are currently custom-made. Therefore, we will not process your cancellation request after this period has passed..

AFTER 5 HOURS: If you want to cancel your order after 5 Hours, we will deduct 30% of the total for restocking + PayPal or Stripe processing fees and the Return Shipping cost for unopened packages.

EXCHANGE POLICY: Oz Robotics wants you to be happy with your new purchase. However, we abide by the exchange policy of our suppliers because we do not manufacture these products; our suppliers do. Once you use the product, our supplier(s) and we have the right not to issue a refund. Still, we will offer an exchange for wrongly purchased items or products with serious and irreversible defects or technical problem(s). The buyer will pay the shipping fee for wrongly purchased products or similar issues. REFUND POLICY: Oz Robotics accepts refunds on a minimal basis unless there is a manufacturing defect. For electronic items, returns are only accepted on devices with serious and irreversible problems; meanwhile, the customer must apply for the returns within seven days of delivery. Before a refund acceptance, please include images or a video and any other proof of the defect. However, we abide by the exchange policy of our suppliers because we do not manufacture these products. Other than our supplier's default policy, once a return is agreed upon, you can ship your defective item to the provided return address that you should receive from us first. Please ship the order in original packaging with all the accessories and additional parts. If the Required Parts are not sent back, they will be billed for or expected to be shipped later. And only once all items have arrived will our staff check the returned product for testing. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return, the original receipt, proof of defect, images, a video, etc. It will help us to speed up the process on your behalf.

The purchaser (customer/buyer) is responsible for all shipping costs when returning an item. However, upon receiving the returned order, we will assess the product. If it is determined that there is, in fact, a manufacturing defect, then we will refund the shipping costs as well as repair or replace or refund the full amount to the purchaser if the product is not fixable.

If you wish to return an unused product, please do so within seven days from the ship date for a refund on the purchase price minus shipping and handling. Refunds will be credited to the original credit card used for payment 24-48 HOURS after receiving the product back. We will charge a 30% of the total for restocking + PayPal or Stripe processing fees and the Return Shipping cost for unopened packages.

Once your return is received and inspected, and if you agree to a refund, refunds will be credited to the original credit card used for payment in 24-48 hours. Please note that we will charge a 50% restocking fee once you return a product without any defect.

Once your refund is processed, PayPal will return the money to the card used. It may take at least five business days (depending on the bank and credit company) before your refund is posted in your bank account and statements. Contact Us if you have not received your refund after five business days.

Do not return your product to our New York office. For any exchange or refunds, please email us first at support@ozrobotics.com for us to provide you with the steps that need to be followed.
