Drogue Dual CAN FD Development Board with CAN-BPWRD-V0.2
The Drogue Systems CAN-BPWRD is a development board based on the STM32G491 microcontroller unit (MCU). It has 21 I/O pins, enabling the use of UART, SPI, I2C, Timers, PWM, ADC, and CAN. With a focus on CAN development, the Drogue Systems CAN-BPWRD features dual CAN FD transceivers (also compatible with standard CAN) that are interfaced directly with the FDCAN modules of the STM32 MCU, eliminating the need for SPI translations.

Each CAN interface has an optional 120-ohm termination resistor enabled by a pin jumper and two complete sets of pins (Vin, GND, CAN HIGH, CAN LOW), removing the need for splitters or large stubs to be added to your network. The Vin pins accept a wide bus voltage range of ~6.5V to 40V, ensuring the board can operate even with considerable deviations from the expected 24V nominal voltage.

The two CAN interfaces are independent and designed to comply fully with the UCANPHY specification. Each Vin is a redundant power supply to the development board with reverse current protection. A hard infinite duration current limit (1.2A) in the voltage regulator protects the rest of your CAN network from accidental shorts. These features combine to enable the development and prototyping of fully redundant, safety-critical CAN nodes and software.

An EEPROM chip installed on the I2C bus provides 32 KB of program-accessible, persistent storage. This enables firmware development to store and retrieve settings and data at any time—even after power cycles. The CAN-BPWRD development board is compatible with Cyphal/CAN and can be programmed in multiple frameworks (STM32Cube HAL, Arduino, libopencm3, CMSIS), depending on your preference.

Return Policy
5 Hours: Mistakes happen when ordering, so you have 5 hours to request a refund for any reason, including if you don’t want to pay the tariff. However, Stripe will not refund you their processing fee if you cancel your order.
All Sales Are Final: After 5 hours, we cannot cancel your order or issue a refund because order cancellations incur multiple transaction processing fees from Stripe and PayPal, additional shipping fees, and reverse tariff payments, which are costly and time-consuming. For technical issues, we will be happy to assist you in resolving problems and provide a replacement if you can prove that the product has a manufacturing defect.
Exchange Policy: We want you to be happy with your new purchase. However, once you have used the product, we cannot issue a refund. However, we will offer an exchange for a product with irreversible manufacturing defects or technical issues. If you purchased the wrong product, then you, as the customer, will be responsible for the re-shipping fees and tariffs.
