Mecanum wheels, also known as iron wheels. It is a conventional wheel with a series of rollers attached to its circumference. These rollers have an axis of rotation at 45° to the plane of the wheel in a plane parallel to the wheel’s axis of rotation. Depending on each wheel’s direction and speed, the resulting combination of all these forces produces a total force vector in any desired direction, thus allowing the platform to move freely in the direction of the resulting force vector without changing the wheels. Thus, it is perfect for tight spaces.

Characteristic
The four Mecanum wheels are each connected to a motor for independent control. The robot can move forward, reverse, and spin like four regular wheels. The configuration of rollers at 45° also allows the robot to translate sideways and, through a combination of these, in any direction (even while spinning!). We split the force into two vectors, forward and backward and right and left. When the wheels on one side are spun in opposite directions, the forward and backward vectors cancel out while both sides add up. Doing the reverse with the other two wheels results in four added sideways vectors.

The left and right wheels should be installed parallel; try not to create an angle. Please check if only one of the wheels is vibrating.

Return Policy
5 Hours: Mistakes happen when ordering, so you have 5 hours to request a refund for any reason, including if you don’t want to pay the tariff. However, Stripe will not refund you their processing fee if you cancel your order.

Exchange Policy: We want you to be happy with your new purchase. However, once you have used the product, we cannot issue a refund.
