B8 Wristband is a wearable tag with a vibration motor. It advertises encrypted data in a proprietary data format. Featuring 2-meter safe social distancing alarm and USB direct charging, the tag supports data interaction with APP.

Main Functions:

  1. Proximity alert
    Notifying people if they come too close to a defined distance 2 meters by a vibrating and red alert, to keep the safe distance in public or working places
  2. Store Contact Information
    Enable data storage function of B8, when tag A detects tag B within 2-meters, tag A will automatically store the ID and contact dates of tag B, and vice versa. If more tags come within a 2-meter range, tag A will automatically store the contact information of all other tags.

Turn On/Off

Turn On: Press the Touch Button until the blue indicator light flashes, meaning the device starts to work.
Turn Off: The tag can not be turned off via the Touch Button. Users can turn it off via an APP.

Charging: Insert the charge port of the tag into a charger with a USB interface or a computer USB.


Introduction

B8 Social Distancing Wristband, a new generation beacon tag based on Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.0 technology, can realize proximity alerts and contact tracking amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The device adopts a direct USB charging method and consumes ultra-low energy. When one tag comes within the 2m range of another tag, both devices will vibrate, and the LED indicator will flash. Meanwhile, the tag will collect and store the contact information of another tag within the 2m range. The contact information can be viewed via the MWristband APP (Android available currently). 2.

Activate B8 – Press the “touch button” until the blue light is on; – Blue LED indicator lights flash, indicating the beacon begins to work

Configuration Tool – There is no power off button on the device. Users can turn the power off via App. – The data storage function is turned off by default. Users can enable storage function via the App.

Return Policy

EXCHANGE POLICY: Oz Robotics wants you to be happy with your new purchase. However, we abide by the exchange policy of our suppliers because we do not manufacture these products, our suppliers do. Please read the product exchange policy that is defined by each supplier for their own listed product(s) which can be found under the Shipping tab on each product page. Once you have used the product, we and our supplier(s) have the right to not issue a refund, but they will offer an exchange for the wrongly purchased items, or products that have serious and irreversible defects or technical problem(s). In the case of wrongly purchased products or any other similar issues, the shipping fee will be paid by the buyer. REFUNDS/RETURNS: Oz Robotics accepts returns on a very limited basis, which unless there is a manufacturing defect. For any electronic items, returns are only accepted on devices which have serious and irreversible quality defect problem, meanwhile, the customer must apply for the returns within 7 days from the date of delivery. Before a refund acceptance please include images or a video, and any other material proof of the defect. However, we abide by the exchange policy of our suppliers because we do not manufacture these products, our suppliers do.

Please check our supplier Exchange Policy under the “Shipping” tab on each listed product page. Other than our supplier’s default policy, once a return is agreed upon, then you can ship your defective item to the provided return address that you should receive from us first. Please ship the order in original packaging with all the accessories and additional parts. If the Required Parts are not sent back, then it will be billed for, or expected to be shipped at a later stage. And only once all items have arrived as a full system, then we can check the returned product for testing. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt as well as any above mentioned proof of defect, images, or a video, etc. This will help us to speed up the process on your behalf.

The purchaser (customer/buyer) is responsible for all shipping costs when returning an item. However, upon receiving the returned order, we will assess the product, and if it is determined that there is in fact a manufacturing defect then we will refund the shipping costs as well as repair, or replace or refund the full amount to the purchaser if the product is not fixable.

If you wish to return a product, please do so within 7 days from the ship date for a refund on the purchase price, minus shipping, handling. Refunds will be credited to the original credit card use for payment in 24-48 HOURS after receiving the product back. We will charge 70% restocking fee.

Once your return is received and inspected, and if agreed for a refund, then refunds will be credited to the original credit card used for payment in 24-48 hours. Please note that we will charge a 20% restocking fee if you want to return a product that does not have any defect.

Once your refund is processed, then PayPal will return the money to the card that was used. It may take at least 5 business days (depending on the bank and credit company) before your refund is officially posted in your bank account and statements. Contact Us if you still have not received your refund after 5 business days.

Do not return your product to our New York office. For any exchange or refunds, please email us first at support@ozrobotics.com for us to provide you with the steps that need to be followed. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and must be returned in the original packaging without being used. Please keep the original receipt.     Hi Josh, it is not possible to turn off the proximity alert via APP. If you do not need the vibration function, then the easiest way is to remove the vibrating motor from the hardware. That means the vibration function will not be available anymore. Thank you.
