An Introduction to Permittivity

$230.00

Permittivity is a significant quantity often used to quantify the behavior of a system under a given electric field distribution in space. The dielectric polarization and associated losses are two main effects connected through the complex permittivity via its real and imaginary parts. Therefore, the quantitative measure of permittivity is essential for predicting the response of a system, e.g., charge storage characteristics of capacitor, supercapacitor, flux through a charge carrying closed surface, exciton binding energy in soar cells/LEDs, properties of liquid crystals and LCDs, relaxation of dielectrics, microwave absorption effectiveness of shielding materials, the response of antenna systems, governing phase velocity of electromagnetic radiation through given medium, designing of metamaterials, etc.

An Introduction to Permittivity

Permittivity is particularly relevant in energy storage, harvesting, conversion, transmission, dissipation, and even stealth technology; therefore, its thorough understanding is required, especially in practical applications. This edited book is the first to provide a single-source solution to address the fundamentals and applications of permittivity through a comprehensive literature review.

Shipping Policy

FAST DELIVERY! We ship worldwide via FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS because they’re Fast, Reliable, Affordable, and Easily Trackable. We process orders in 24 hours; delivery may take 4 to 7 days or sooner, depending on your location. Once shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.

Ships From: Not all our products are shipped from the USA; we ship some from regions like China, Taiwan, or Europe. Therefore, the tariff you will pay will differ depending on which country your order will be shipped from because not all countries charge the same amount. For example, if the US imposes a 30% tariff on goods from China, other countries may impose a much lower tariff. Check the "Ships From:" label on this product page to see from which country we will ship it.

TARIFF: Check the "Ships From:" label on this product page to see which country we will ship this product from. While not all products require a tariff, some may require a minimal or no tariff in your country. If applicable, the buyer will pay the tariff within their respective country. The total amount of your order does not include a tariff. Please enter a reachable phone number during checkout so the Shipping Company can contact you to pay the tariff once your parcel arrives at your destination.

Why don't we add tariffs to the product's retail price? If all countries imposed the same tariff amount and used the same currency, we would have added the tariff amount to the product price. However, we do not do that because each country charges a different amount and uses a different currency, while some do not even charge a tariff. Therefore, we can't add a tariff to the product's retail pricing. Oz Robotics' manufacturing partners, or suppliers are not responsible for tariffs. Please check the "Ships From:" label on the product page to see the product's origin. The total amount for your order does not include a tariff. The customer must pay the tariff. We will not cancel your order or refund you if you do not pay the tariff. More Details.

SHIPPING COSTS: For some industrial products, e.g., heavy wheels, CNC machines, etc., the shipping cost is calculated based on the product weight, not quantity. For lower shipping costs for orders with multiple items, please email us at sales@ozrobotics.com before you buy. We show shipping rates on the product page under the SHIPPING tab. To see the shipping cost for your country, click add to cart on the product page.

PRODUCT DATASHEET AND MANUAL: If applicable, the Product Documentation, such as the Datasheet, CAD Design, STP Files, Manuals, Reference Materials, and Tutorials, will be available for download upon purchase from the My Account as needed. On the checkout page, please create an account to download product-related files upon purchase. You won’t be able to download otherwise.
