What you need:

  • Servo channel to actuate the servo – This can include the Sentinel Automatic Trigger System or the Skycat Rescue Radio. Also, eject using an extra parachute eject channel from your RC radio. The Pixhawk and some other autopilots do support parachute ejection channels. See the Ardupilot Parachute page which shows how to set up this functionality.
  • Suitable Mount – The Harrier has three 6-32 sized mounting holes in the base. Or even simpler just use a Velcro strap to hold the Harrier onto the amount. We will be providing various mounts shortly.

The Harrier product line raises the bar for high performance, lightweight, and low cost for Drone Ballistic Parachute Launchers. Key features of the Harrier product line are:

  • Light Weight – All launchers use thin wall carbon fiber canisters and lightweight nylon parts.
  • New Parachute – To have the smallest and lightest launcher possible we developed a new line of parachute called the “Iris Ultra Zero” parachutes. The IFC-42-SUZ parachute weighs just 49 grams and is rated at 2.5Kg @ 4.6 m/s. You can only get this parachute with the Harrier launcher.
  • High Energy Spring – All launchers feature powerful springs to get the highest possible ejection velocity and low weight.
  • Patent Pending Parachute Release – We pushed the envelope to make the launcher as short and compact as possible. We developed a new low profile patent-pending spring release mechanism. High quality and fast servo actuate the release of the parachute in a fraction of a second.
  • Ease of Use – To reset the parachute launcher after use you use a simple tool to push down the launcher piston which “clicks” into place. This makes loading the parachute a breeze since you do not have to fight the piston spring. The chute folding can be optimized for fast opening since lines do not need to be wrapped around the parachute.
  • Use for Drones and Fixed Wing – Of course, you’re going to want to use the Harrier for your Drone Parachute Recovery System. But the short and compact launcher makes the Harrier an ideal solution for Fixed-Wing UAVs. All the harrier launchers will feature short versions that will fit into the low profile fixed with airframes.
  • Many sizes, many diameters – Like our other products the Harrier product line is a family of launchers of various diameters and then vary the canister length to accommodate different size parachutes. Sizes include 40mm, 50mm, 56mm, and more to come.

Shipping Policy

We primarily ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS because they are reliable, fast, and easily trackable. We usually ship within two to three business days after the full payment is received. Standard Delivery generally occurs within 5 to 7 business days after the ship date. However, sometimes delivery time depends on destination, logistics mode, weather conditions, size, and product weight.

SHIPPING COSTS: For some industrial products, e.g., wheels, and CNC machines, etc. the shipping cost is calculated based on the product weight, not quantity. To benefit from lower shipping costs for orders with multiple items, please contact us at sales@ozrobotics.com. Our shipping rates are listed very clearly on each product page under the SHIPPING tab. Additionally, to see the shipping cost for your country, add the item to the Shopping Cart, there you will see the shipping cost based on your Country and Location.

Return Policy

EXCHANGE POLICY: Oz Robotics wants you to be happy with your new purchase. However, we abide by the exchange policy of our suppliers because we do not manufacture these products; our suppliers do. Please read the product exchange policy defined by each supplier for their own listed product(s), which can be found under the Shipping tab on each product page. Once you have used the product, our supplier(s) and we have the right not to issue a refund. Still, they will offer an exchange for the wrongly purchased items or products with serious and irreversible defects or technical problems (s). If wrongly purchased products or any other similar issues, the buyer will pay the shipping fee. REFUNDS/RETURNS: Oz Robotics accepts returns on a minimal basis unless there is a manufacturing defect. For any electronic items, returns are only accepted on devices with serious and irreversible problems; meanwhile, the customer must apply for the returns within 7 days from the delivery date. Before a refund acceptance, please include images or a video and any other material proof of the defect. However, we abide by the exchange policy of our suppliers because we do not manufacture these products; our suppliers do.

Other than our supplier’s default policy, once a return is agreed upon, then you can ship your defective item to the provided return address that you should receive from us first. Please ship the order in original packaging with all the accessories and additional parts. If the Required Parts are not sent back, they will be billed for or expected to be shipped at a later stage. And only once all items have arrived as a full system can we check the returned product for testing. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt as well as any mentioned proof of defect, images, or a video, etc. This will help us to speed up the process on your behalf.

The purchaser (customer/buyer) is responsible for all shipping costs when returning an item. However, upon receiving the returned order, we will assess the product. If it is determined that there is, in fact, a manufacturing defect, then we will refund the shipping costs as well as repair or replace or refund the full amount to the purchaser if the product is not fixable.

If you wish to return an unused product, please do so within 7 days from the ship date for a refund on the purchase price, minus shipping, handling. Refunds will be credited to the original credit card use for payment in 24-48 HOURS after receiving the product back. We will charge 50% restocking fee.

Once your return is received and inspected, and if agreed for a refund, refunds will be credited to the original credit card used for payment in 24-48 hours. Please note that we will charge a 50% restocking fee if you want to return a product without any defect.

Once your refund is processed, then PayPal will return the money to the card that was used. It may take at least 5 business days (depending on the bank and credit company) before your refund is officially posted in your bank account and statements. Contact Us if you still have not received your refund after 5 business days.

Do not return your product to our New York office. For any exchange or refunds, please email us first at support@ozrobotics.com for us to provide you with the steps that need to be followed.
